As we get closer to the Nov. 23 premiere of the new Muppets movie (already circled on the calendar among us geeksters), we discovered this video/ad from the Muppets crew. In this clip, co-branded with Sprint, the Muppets remind everyone in the theater to turn off their cell phones, pagers, microwave ovens and drum kits.
This isn't the first time the Muppets have done a PSA like this - in the early '90s (my memory is fading), there was an awesome PSA done with Lowes Theatres that included a great song "Don't Forget to Watch the Movie" that included all sorts of wackiness, including "Don't surf!" with a surfing Elmo in the theater.
One more Muppet movie-related trailer: Cookie Monster gives a brief history of motion pictures. Let's face it, Cookie Monster is epic.
Seriously, can't we get the Muppets to do all public service announcements from now on?
