Massive city made from die-cast cars

Fulfilling the dreams of every 10-year-old boy

As a child I didn't own many die-cast cars (Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars), but those that I did own were fun to play with, especially when making ramps and other exciting scenarios (my brother and I would usually launch them towards Lincoln Log cabins we had built).

So imagine how cool this is - performance artist Chris Burden has created "Metropolis 2", a massive structure that features more than 1,100 toy cars and other buildings, all racing around in perpetual motion (thanks to a conveyor belt and magnets).
