Unboxing Apple's game console, circa 1996

Gadget "unboxing" videos from 15 years ago

The people at IGN have created an "unboxing" video of the Apple Pippin game console, which launched in 1995 in Japan and the U.S. At $599, it was more expensive than game consoles at the time, but cheaper than computers.

Anyway, this is a pretty good parody of today's unboxing videos, which tend to get lots of hits but don't really say much about the device being unboxed. Try to see if you can catch all of the mid-'90s references and other funny bits (like, "$599 is not a bad price to pay for a game console").
