Finally a great use for an iPad. And for a cat.

As I've gotten older matured I've gotten less tolerant, rather than more, of preremptory, smug superiority, especially from those who feel perfectly justified walking into a room and just stare expectantly until you figure out what set of complex behaviors you're supposed to perform.

That means I'm far less patient with certain species of manager. More importantly, for overly cute Internet memes, I find cats much less entertaining than I used to.

I always thought apps like this one were brilliant for the way they could limit the damage "look at me" time could do to your computer (they work with toddlers, too, who tend to type overhand, with slightly more effort than a major league pitcher).

I never thought there would be apps that were both attractive for cats and useful for humans (it's funny and it keeps the cat busy until you can get out of range of the Imperial Stare of Domination).

I was wrong. This justifies both the app and the iPad. But not the cat.
