Lawsuit rages over negative eBay review

Michael Steadman bought a timeclock on eBay for $44. It didn't work so he returned it and got his money refunded to him. But the trouble began when he wrote a negative review of seller Elliot Miller, who sued Steadman for ruining his previously perfect eBay rating. Now Steadman is out $7,000 in legal fees, and the case hasn't even gone to court yet. The lesson: always give everyone an A++++++ rating, and if you're unsure, throw a few more plus signs on there.
