Taskly is a feature-rich task manager from developer Patrick Otten with a sleek interface, Push Notifications, map and location integration, and much more.
Taskly lets you organize your tasks in a flexible four-tier hierarchal system. The first tier, List Categories, acts as a root list under which your other lists reside. The second tier is Lists, which consists of individual Tasks, Subtasks lists, and Checklists. Tasks are basic items that can't be expanded upon, while Subtask lists and Checklists can contain their own series of respective tasks or lists.
Aside from its intuitive structure, Taskly also includes Smart Lists such as Today, Due, and Incomplete, so you can easily access your most timely or specific tasks. It also comes with a built-in calendar on which you can view your tasks with due dates. Multiple photos, audio, and contacts can be attached to any task--so can locations, which can be viewed on Taskly's built-in map. A feature called Contexts lets you group tasks by their location and view them when you are nearby.
Other features include a search tool, the ability to set priorities, hiding and showing entire list categories, setting tasks to repeat, and seeing which tasks have been completed and which still need to be done.
Taskly is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch running iPhone OS 3.0 or later, and costs $4. An iPad version is also in the works, as well as a Web interface that will allow syncing between your iPad, iPhone, and the Web.
