Sun hopes to cash in on wireless with Pixo

The Register – Sun Microsystems has long pushed its J2ME platform as a good basis for mobile applications on cell phones and handhelds. Now the company is moving aggressively into the marketplace with its purchase of Pixo, a company that sells Java-based software for downloading apps to mobile devices.
