Despite losses, Hutchinson sticks with 3G strategy

Internet.com – 3G mobile phone technology keeps on not quite taking off, while major telecom players keep investing in it hoping for eventual return. One player currently in crisis is Hong Kong-based Hutchison Whampoa, which is rolling out 3G networks in Italy and the U.K. - despite the fact that they only have a tenth of subscribers they need to be profitable.
