Procom posts $3M loss

Procom Technology Inc. announced it lost $3 million on revenue of $22.7 million for the quarter ended April 30.

During the same quarter last year, the Santa Ana, Calif.-based maker of networked data storage devices counted $1.3 million profit on $29.6 million revenue.

Company officials blamed the losses on pricing pressures on hard-disk drive upgrade products and less demand for its line of CD server products.
