'Fixing' HP with strong operations strategy

Storage Pipeline – The interim leadership at Hewlett Packard believes that the company's strategy is right, and that Carly Fiona was the wrong person to implement it. Many blame Fiona's acquisition of Compaq, and the lack of management in integrating the new company into the HP fold. Others believe that cuts in research and development under Fiona's reign have left the company lagging in product development; whatever the reasons, the new management faces a challenge in regaining last market share.
