Wi-Fi banned from political conventions

Network Computing – Wireless-enabled political reporters set to cover this summer's Democratic and Republican national conventions are in for a shock: Wi-Fi has been banned from both convention sites because it interferes with wireless TV gear. Some observers note that 802.11a, which has been largely bypassed by the market wouldn't have this problem.
