Wireless rural broadband gets green light in U.K.

ZDNet – Britain is taking steps towards providing broadband Internet connections to those areas that DSL and cable don't reach. The 5.8 GHz "Band C" is now being used in trials throughout the U.K. But British Telecom warns that wireless broadband will be pricier than traditional wired offerings.
