Japanese scientists launch Linux supercluster

LinuxInsider – Break out the cigars to welcome Japan's newest, biggest computing grid. Based on a 556-processor Evolocity II cluster system from Linux Networx, the grid will be used primarily for bioinformatics and nanotechnology research.
