If you’re thinking of experimenting with Wireless Application Protocol (WAP), you have to try CoffeeCup Wireless Web Builder from CoffeeCup Software (801 Elizabeth Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78404; 361-887-7778; www.coffeecup.com).
CoffeeCup Wireless Web Builder provides you with a complete and structured system for creating WAP sites in Wireless Markup Language (WML).
The editing interface is very simple and even shows you a live simulation of the site as you build it. You can also create and edit images with the CoffeeCup Wireless Image Maker (it supports one of the WAP images -- a special black-and-white bitmap format called WBMP) that is included with the Wireless Web Builder.
CoffeeCup also offers free publishing of your WAP code through its hosting service BlueDomino. Your WAP site becomes http://wap.bluedomino.com/users/username/ (where " username " is a name you select).
For a fee of $18.95 per month, BlueDomino will host your WAP and/or HTML site with your own domain name.
Pretty cool -- and for the price, terrific!
