Bossie 2010 winner: Vyatta

Vyatta is a software-based, open source, network operating system that can be ported to standard x86 hardware, as well as to common virtualization and cloud computing platforms. The amazingly useful Vyatta Core distribution provides the features necessary for most basic networking tasks: IP services, NAT, LAN interfaces, WAN interfaces, encapsulations, tunneling, routing, firewall, VPN, intrusion prevention, and filtering. Vyatta Core does not include access to TACACS+, client access to an OpenVPN Access server, or serial communications, and it is not supported; these features are available in Vyatta's subscription edition.
