Bossie 2010 winner: RANCID

RANCID is a configuration management solution for routers, switches, and other network devices. RANCID keeps copies of the configurations in either CVS or Subversion, storing all of the versions and a full history of the changes. RANCID can email you when it detects a change in one of your configurations. RANCID even has built-in looking glass software. It's an invaluable tool for network admins, especially when you share switch and router access with other IT staff members.
