If you've spent a lot of time on Facebook, or if you have friends/family who love to forward email chains along, you've probably seen a bunch of 3D chalk drawing photos, which make it appear as if the drawing is either popping up out of the sidewalk or popping below (in the case of drawings where it looks like someone is hanging off a cliff, etc.).
While those are always cool to look at, I'm a fan of video, so here's a time-lapse video of a guy creating a 3D version of Mario the plumber standing on top of an old-school Nintendo controller. The drawing took 11 hours to create, but thankfully we get a 4-minute time-lapse video.
