Why rely on Hollywood special effects? Make your own!

The new Iron Man movie is inspiring video creators everywhere. My new favorite YouTube channel is CineFix, which creates homemade versions of popular movie trailers.


With this week's new "Iron Man 3" trailer hitting the Internet, the CineFix team was busy creating a shot-by-shot replication of the trailer (the original one, not the "second" one), but without the Hollywood special effects. Take it away, CineFix!

Dustin and his team also created a side-by-side comparison of the official trailer and his homemade one, as well as a behind-the-scenes video of how they made their homemade version. Here's the side-by-side comparison version:

While I love everything they've done, I think my favorite part is that they even re-create the dialogue and background music - most people would just take the audio track from the original trailer and add it to their video cuts, but these guys go the extra mile by making their own audio tracks. Bravo!
