Henry Reich's new MinuteEarth channel on YouTube, which gives animated explanations for Earth-based science topics, has published a two-part video (part 1 debuted last week) answering the question "Why Are Leaves Green?"


If it's been a while since your high school biology classes, take a gander at both videos to brush up on your photosynthesis.

At this point in the winter/spring, I'd be happy to see any leaves, no matter what their color.
