The other day, my son suggested a solution to a problem we were having by telling me that we should just turn invisible. I sadly had to tell him that invisibility and other superpowers like flying, super speed and super strength were not possible in real life.


Sure, it's a hard lesson that we all must learn, but what if they were real? That's the idea behind this TED Ed site, discussing Superhero Science. Joy Lin discusses six different powers - invisibility, flight, immortality, super strength, super speed and Body mass, but in terms of science. Here's the one on flight:
