Squee alert: Ender's Game trailer

Long-awaited movie adaptation hits theaters this fall

Fans of the 1985 science-fiction novel Ender's Game have been waiting patiently for a movie adaptation - their wishes will finally come true on November 1.

Here's the first official trailer for the movie, in which the human race needs to recruit children to become military commanders for space-based battles, because the aliens already know the tactics and maneuvers of the adults.

So far, so good - especially when you see some of the short scenes of the weightless, no-gravity battle room, which is described quite nicely in the novels. It should be interesting to see whether fans will flock to the theaters to see this in November (having Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley involved shouldn't hurt its chances).
