Are you a Netflix cheater?

Video puts spotlight on people who watch shows ahead of their partners

Netflix streamers, has this happened to you? You and your wife (or husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, significant other, etc.) commit to watching a new show together on Netflix, only to find that one of you begin to stray and watch additional episodes.

This is known as "Netflix Adultery", a term coined by New York Magazine here, but also a topic that Netflix itself wanted to study. The company put out a report highlighting survey results about this phenomenon, and also put up this funny video describing the trend:

According to the survey, 12% admitted they watched ahead on TV shows they were supposed to save to watch with their partners, and 10% admitted to being the victim of Netflix adultery by their partners.
