I know you're wondering what's up with Joerg Sprave from YouTube's "The Slingshot Channel" - well wonder no more! He's hunting dragons!
Based on his love of the second Hobbit film, "The Desolation of Smaug," Sprave has done a two-part video in which he builds a slingshot that could fire a large arrow to help penetrate a dragon's tough hide (Semi-Spoiler: It's implied that an arrow like this would kill Smaug in the movie, but by the end we still haven't seen it work - it's likely going to happen in the third movie).
Anyway, since we know that dragons don't really exist (sorry, kids), Sprave simulates a dragon hide with reinforced steel, so watch the videos to see whether his contraption can succeed:
If you want to see how Peter Jackson decides to take care of Smaug in the movie, you'll have to wait until Dec. 17 when the third movie in the Hobbit trilogy hits theaters. But it's good to know that if dragons suddenly come to life (or zombies), we'll know who to turn to.
