A viral video making its way around the Internet takes a "War of the Worlds" style takeout and updates it for modern times.
To show how "real" its new Ultra HD televisions are, LG created a prank where they made a TV look like a window inside a job recruiter's office. As applicants come in for their interviews, they begin to witness the "end of the world" as a meteor strikes the cityscape setting. It's a cruel trick, perhaps, but an effective marketing campaign/video for the LG TV set.
