The biggest tech stories of the week were about the news that came out of Microsoft’s Windows 10 event on Wednesday. Among other things, they announced that Windows 10 would be free for Windows 7 and Windows 8 users, an Xbox app is coming for Windows 10 and they revealed the new Windows HoloLens. That last one is what I thought was the most interesting: it’s an augmented reality headset that will let you interact with holograms that will appear around you. Of course, when people hear the term “augmented reality” they may get the wrong idea, so don’t get your hopes up.
