I love my smart TV; having access to apps and the Internet through my ginormous flat screen TV gives me even fewer reasons to ever get off the couch. Now, though, things may have gone too far. Samsung is apparently warning owners of its smart TVs that “personal or other sensitive information” that you speak around your TV could be picked up its via voice recognition capability and transmitted to a 3rd party for transcription. Great. So, it’s probably time to either go back to a dumb TV, or invest in a Cone of Silence.
