How to put folders inside of folders on your iPhone or iPad

A new trick lets you nest folders in iOS

There might come a time when you'll want to consolidate space on your iPhone or organize your apps more fittingly, by putting your action games folder and your puzzle games folder under a broader games folder. You can't do this by default, but you can trick iOS to let you nest your folders.

YouTube user Videosdebarraquito posted this video demonstrating the tutorial, an easier method than other hacks of the past. It involves turning on the "Reduce motion" option in your iPhone's settings menu, then placing the folder you want to use as your top-level folder (the one to put other folders into) on the bottom bar of your home screen for quick access.

After that, it's a matter of quickly and repeatedly tapping that top-level folder until the phone starts to lag so you can drag the folder you want to drop into the top-level folder.

It's almost like a game. This could come in handy if you have tons of apps in the same categories.
