Microsoft confirmed this week what has been rumored for some time: that it is killing off the Internet Explorer brand. A new yet-to-be-named browser will debut in Windows 10, though IE will live on in some versions for compatibility reasons. Whether or not you’ll miss Microsoft’s old warhorse, you’ll have to admit that IE’s retirement years aren’t looking too exciting. Farewell, old frenemy!
