The cost of new Apple products is starting to make the cost of vintage Apple products seem reasonable

Recently, the tech news featured stories on both the newest Apple offering as well as the very first product the company sold. On one hand, Apple began taking orders for its new Apple Watch. On the other hand, one of the few remaining original Apple-1 computers (which was actually just a circuit board) went up for sale on eBay. Previous Apple-1’s have sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars, which seems like a lot. Then again, given the rate of increase of prices on new Apple stuff, the prices Apple-1s are going for are starting to feel like a bargain.
