Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, Videos: Windows includes these folders by default under This PC, but not everyone needs them. You can hide them, though, by editing the registry.
AskVG.com has the specific registry keys you'll need to edit for each folder you don't want to see anymore. The setting is under a new "ThisPCPolicy" string, which you can set to "Hide." To hide the Pictures folder, for example, you edit this key:
