Amazon Prime is just $67 for new members during a one-day sale

That's about a third off of a pretty valuable service

Amazon Prime is arguably the best deal in tech, not just for the fast shipping benefits but the many other perks. Today, September 25th, it's even a better deal at $32 less than regular annual price.

What do you get besides two-day shipping on items marked Prime (in most cases)? Movie and TV show instant streaming (the one-day promotion is to celebrate company's Emmy awards for Transparent), ad-free music streaming, unlimited photo storage, free Kindle books each month, early access to Lightning Deals on Amazon, and access to Amazon's flat-fee grocery and household service, Prime Pantry.

Even if you don't use these extra benefits the cost of membership might be worth it just for the fast shipping alone (some cities have same-day delivery for Prime members).

If this message gets to you too late to take advantage of the offer, apologies. $67 is better than $99, but if you haven't taken a look at Amazon Prime yet, you might still want to.

Unfortunately, this offer is only for new Prime members. In the past, there was a loophole where you could gift yourself a discounted Prime membership, but that doesn't appear to work anymore. Kinja Deals notes, however, that some people seem to be able to get a pro-rated refund for their memberships by asking customer service. Worth a try, perhaps.
