becker answers Re: i want to provide a company hr payroll software support.how can i offer them by using a proposal letter.i need a smart demo format of an offer letter.please kindly help me in this purpose. I would certainly make sure to use capitalization and spaces after punctuation in any correspondence. Here is a guide to writing a proposal letter along with a sample. It should at least give you a starting point. Good luck. http://www.sophisticatededge.com/sample-business-proposal-letter-example...32 weeks 6 days ago

becker asks Which is the biggest consumer electronics news for the week - Apple iPhone 5, Nintendo WiiU, or Kindle Fire HD? The past 10 days or so has been a particularly interesting time for releases of new consumer technology. Which of the "big three" for the week will matter the most in a month or two: the new iPhone 5, Nintendo WiiU or Kindle Fire HD?34 weeks 16 hours ago

I would like to know more about how revenue sharing would work, but I would potentially use it. My first thought is perhaps using it for "featured" articles within a site.

One advantage of the iPhone family is that they tend to retain their value to a greater degree than many other mobile devices. I would also think that selling it right now would maximize your cost recovery, before the new iPhone is released. Of course, you might be without a device for a little while.

I had planned to go to the Open Networking Summit back in October, but some things came up that made it impossible. I just saw that the next SDN is scheduled for April 2013. I was wondering if anyone attended last time, and if they so, would recommend taking the time to go in 2013?

becker asks What is the best option for a durable, heavy duty laptop that can survive in harsh environments? I've recently had trouble keeping laptops safe from physical damage, and am looking for something that is specifically designed for use in harsh environments. I use them for telemetry data and engine management of racing motorcycles, and as you might expect, the pit environment can be a little rough in the heat of battle.38 weeks 20 hours ago

There are a couple of things that you can do that are really easy and will greatly decrease the risk while people are browsing. I install the NoScript plug-in on all the browsers at my office. We currently use Firefox, but I'm sure there is either a version of it for Chrome or a similar plug-in.

Ok, I know this question may sound a little weird, but I promise that I'm not walking around my office all day wearing gloves. No matter how dapper that might look, now that I think about it. :-)

I think that he has a valid point to some degree, but let's face it, for years many User Agreements have forced end users to cede significant control to software companies. Ever read those pages of small print? You don't have many legal rights left after you click the "ok" box.

becker answers Re: How can people who are following the law in their own country be guilty of committing criminal offenses in the US? Honestly, I think you can rest assured that you will be protected by what folks in the good ole US of A call a "double standard". We are going to demand the extradition of people from other countries for violating our laws, even when the actually connection to the US is tenuous at best, and many times we will get it.45 weeks 2 days ago

A lot of it is features such as construction, included software, a cool look, etc., but there are also real differences. I've used a USB drive that I got as a freebie at a trade show that worked ok on a Windows machine, but was not recognized by my Linux desktop, for example.

That's awesome, and I'm glad to see cross platform support. One thing about it though, the games that EA and others have made available for Linux are (1) ports, and (2) relatively simple. The EA games in particular are HTML based, so there wasn't a lot of effort required.

I am pretty blown away by Corning's new Willow Glass, which is thin and flexible display glass. So flexible that, according to the information in the press release, you can roll it into a 2" round tube/ 5cm radius before stressing it.

We are looking at NoSQL database choices, and both MongoDB and CouchDB have been recommended. I personally have never used either of them. Is there much significant difference between the two, or are we basically choosing between brands of vanilla ice cream - there may be small differences, but they are essentially the same?

Easy: the new Nintendo Wii U. Even though I am more of a PC gamer, there is no denying that game consoles have a huge impact on technology adoption for the average consumer. The PS3 pushed Blu-Ray discs into many living rooms that wouldn't be watching them otherwise.

I think you hit one nail on the head when you mentioned patents. Motorola has 17,000+ patents. As we have seen over the past couple of years, patent litigation has become an industry into itself. Google knows a little about this, with that little ongoing unpleasantness with Oracle.

I think there is a real opportunity here for Canonical, and a risk for Microsoft. Windows 8's new interface is unlike anything Windows users have experienced. For 20 years, the convention has been the "Start" button at the bottom left of the screen as a starting point for most of your desktop activity.

Hah, well, well - the issue of APIs raises its head once again, this time outside of Oracle/Google context! Win32 APIs are only available to Internet Explorer. Of course, a big difference between Windows and Java is that Windows isn't open source, so the issue of APIs is a bit different here than in the Oracle v Google case.

I think you touched on the biggest drawback - it makes your sleek, pretty piece of industrial design bulkier and covers up the actual appearance. It's like those wretched bra things people used to put on cars.

Google says it does'nt matter much but honestly I think it does. Inftact all the sites with good PageRank have good SERP positions. Check the comment section of this article Matt Cutts himself said: http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/why-did-my-pagerank-go-down/

Well, I completely agree with kreiley that there is a application called Kindle to read Kindle Books, why to use ebook converter or anything. Anyways, it is a Question & Answer section not a section to recommend things. So, be careful next time!

1985 was a go-go year for geekdom: Microsoft released Windows 1.0, the first dot-com domain names were registered, AOL was founded, and Richard Stallman's GNU Manifesto was published. Also, the Unabomber's first fatal attack took place.
