Netflix coming to Sony PS3 despite Microsoft's 'exclusive' claims

In August Microsoft claimed that it had an exclusive partnership with Netflix to offer the Netflix Watch Now service on game consoles. Now Sony and Netflix announce that the same service is coming to the Playstation 3.

Amazon matches BN eReader with Kindle for PC

Barnes & Noble's e-book system has one feature Amazon doesn't: a software e-reader that runs on PCs. But yesterday Amazon announced Kindle for PC, so now both sides will have a software solution that no one wants (yet). Also, Kindle US version is gone, and the Nook's book lending feature is crippled.

Sidekick: The Good News & the Bad News
Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.
