Irfan Khan is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Sybase, an SAP Company. Together with the architects residing within the technology offices, he is chartered with ensuring the voice of Sybase's customers and the need of the market are reflected within the company's innovation and product development. In addition to his CTO responsibilities, Khan oversees the evangelism efforts for Sybase. His evangelism group is responsible for seeding new products and driving new technologies within Sybase's most strategic accounts. Khan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science as well as a Master of Science degree in advanced computing from Kings College, University of London in the United Kingdom. In 2010, Khan received the InfoWorld CTO 25 Award and was named to the International Advisory Board of Cloud Expo.
