    I don’t know what it is, but people love them some forums. I’ve struggled with this phenomenon for my entire internet life and to this day I regularly debate the need for them on new projects, or the need for them at all for that matter. Recently however, a new forum system has emerged that threatens to change my view on the subject.

    Why world? Why do you cling to IE 6 and 7? These two browsers are the cause of massive frustration and wasted time for developers. In our latest thrill ride with Internet Explorer, we came across an issue where AJAX requests were being aborted almost instantaneously, but only sporadically.

  • LINQ in .NET returning duplicate rows from a working SQL view [SOLVED]

    Twice in the past couple of months I’ve gotten tripped up by the same data issue when using LINQ to Entities in the .NET framework. I create a simple view in my database which performs some aggregation to return a resultset containing just two columns. Querying the view returns the expected results. Performing a LINQ query on the view returns incorrect and confusing results.
