Well, as the Bob Dylan song goes, “The Times They Are-A-Changin’”. That is to say, that in IT, more so than other professions, it’s possible to find a job anywhere in the world and do that job from wherever in the world you happen to be.

Two years ago I graduated from college with a degree in computer science from a great engineering school. Now that I have a couple of years work experience under my belt, I want to begin a part-time master’s program. Should I get an MBA or a Master's in Computer Science?

Early in my career I was given some great advice. I was told to read the Sunday help wanted ads in my local newspaper like it was the sports page. I thought this was a ridiculous idea until I was told why.
