April 09, 2012, 5:40 PM — From Japan (where else?!) comes a couple of videos (via Laughing Squid) showcasing sushi-making robots. One of the "SushiBots" can make rice mound sushi bases at the rate of 3,600 per hour, and the sushi roll machine can make 300 per hour.

The good news: When the robots destroy us all, they'll be able to enjoy a nice piece of sushi to celebrate their victory over humanity. Robots - what will they do next? Stay tuned to this blog, of course.
