NASA has posted a cool video showcasing the past 30 years of images of the Mount St. Helens volcano, which erupted 32 years ago today. The images were taken from the space program's LANDSAT satellites, which tracked the recovery of the forest since the explosion.
If you weren't around back then or didn't remember the eruption, here are a few other videos that covered the event. In this first one, there's some cool slow-motion footage of the eruption.
In this 22-minute documentary, we get to see the eruption and its aftermath, which was pretty devastating as well.
