June 27, 2012, 2:18 PM — In addition to its Google Nexus 7 tablet, Google today also announced the Google Nexus Q, a bowling-ball-shaped device that runs on Android, and can stream media content stored on the cloud to your tablet, smartphone or TV. Google has posted a couple of videos explaining more about the device - one introduction video, and one video that shows "How it works" (the titles are reversed, the longer one is the more in-depth video)
In the second video, we get a closer look at the features of the Google Nexus Q:
It reminds me a lot of the Roku box that can stream Netflix, as well as Apple TV. And the shape reminds me of the plastic bowling ball set that I had as a kid.
