Leading universities report rising enrollment in computer-related courses

Stanford University

Stanford University students declare their majors after they arrive on campus. In 2009, 123 students declared computer science as their major, up 40% from the prior year. The number of students taking an introductory computer science class is up 20% this year, representing half of all Stanford University undergraduates.
