Leading universities report rising enrollment in computer-related courses

University of California-Berkeley

Undergraduate enrollment at UC Berkeley's Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences Department's degree program is 929 students, up 8% from last year. In addition to these engineering students, UC Berkeley has another 120 liberal arts students enrolled as computer science majors, up 9% from last year. The current enrollment is a significant increase from the bust year of 2004, but it hasn't matched the boom year of 2000.
