CCIE Amnesty Program
If you have not been informed there are many ways to use your CCIE number. A few of these methods are frowned upon by Cisco and can even cost you that hard earned number. Yes, recently I personally witnessed the revoking of a pair of CCIEs who had associated their numbers to a channel they did not work for. This is strictly forbidden by Cisco and can result in severe penalties to the Channel and the CCIE.
Will the Real CCIE Please Stand Up!
The fake CCIE in question is now banned for life from taking Cisco certification tests at all. If his current employer, Duplicate Feline (not the real company name) tries to associate his fake number they will find he is an imposter and he will lose his job. I will not go as far as to make that call to them myself, even though they are a client of mine. I will let Karma play out here and await the inevitable outcome. I have asked for the fake CCIE to answer some questions for me so maybe we will get lucky and I will have his side of the story soon. I also reached out to the real CCIE issued this same number in Canada and he is thinking about it?

I did it again this New Year’s eve. I waited in line for an hour to get into Saint John the Devine for the annual concert for peace. The idea for the Concert for Peace was originally developed by Leonard Bernstein. He chose Copeland’s “Fanfare for the Common Manâ€, as the opening piece and it has been used since the 1980s.
Be brave because it is not over yet!
Start out slow don’t hyperventilate or step on your own tongue. Ask the same questions of all prospective employers so you can rate their answers against each other properly. What is important to you? If you are in the USA don’t ask for a company car, if you are in England don’t ask for an American car, if you are in Fiji don’t ask for too little money, if you are in Dubai ask for more of everything, if you are in Finland don’t ask to work from home, if you are in China don’t ask for an American car, if you are in Russia don’t ask for Chinese food, if you are in India don’t ask for less than a 14% increase, if you are in Brazil don’t ask for more holidays, if you are a CCIE in prison for killing your wife don’t ask for Eman!
Do The CCIE Test Questions Need An Overhaul
Terry Slattery did a blog post in May 2008 with a suggestion to Cisco about their test question database. He had just passed his CCIE recertification written test and had used the preparation tools offered by NetMaster Class (Bruce Caslow, #3139 and Val Pavlichenko, #3765). He continued to see a high incidence of repeat questions on the Cisco written test.

I heard mention that the Chrome OS will have some sort of encryption available a la bitlocker. If it's possible to encrypt personal data using another password or key, then it may have potential for very secure data.... And Ubuntu has an 'encrypt home directory' option, perhaps google should follow suit.
