How to keep track of all the files you have on all your cloud storage services? It's easier than you think -- I've rounded up five free apps and tools that let you do it for free.

ZeroPC

This service, available as a free app for Android and iOS, as well as on the Web, lets you view and manage files from multiple cloud providers, including Google Docs, Dropbox, Box.Net, Evernote, and SugarSync. What makes it stand out, though, is that it also works with social media and content storage services including Picasa, Instagram, Flickr, Twitter and Facebook. Not only that, but it gives you 50GB of free storage as well.

doo

What's unique about doo is that it doesn't just let you browse through all of your storage, but you can also do searches across all of them in a single step. And that search is a very powerful one, with very sophisticated ways to search, including voice on devices that support it. There are apps for iOS and Android, for Mac OS X, and now a full-blown Windows 8 app as well as a Windows desktop app as well.

hojoki
hojoki is different than all the other cloud storage unifiers in this roundup, because it focuses on work and collaboration rather than storage. So you can access not just shared documents but contacts, tasks, and more from multiple services. You can also create group tasks, have discussions, and plenty more. It's an app for iOS and Android, and works in any browser so that those with PCs and Macs can use it as well. The free version works for only five people per workspace, and one account per app. You'll have to pay $5 per person per month if you want more.

Primadesk

Primadesk, like doo, lets you search across all of your cloud-based storage services to find the files you want. And not only can you find them, but you get some very nice tools once the files are located, such as dragging and dropping from one service to another. It also works with social networking services such as Facebook and Google+ so you can manage them as well. And there are nifty tools for sharing your files and photos with others. It also includes free storage space. The free version gives you 1 GB of storage, and the ability to manage up to 10 accounts. For more, you'll have to pay.

Cloud Save

This free Chrome extension is more limited than the other tools outlined here, but it's also much easier to use as well. It does one thing, and does it well --- lets you save whatever you find on the Web to any one of multiple cloud and other Web-based services, including Dropbox, Picasa, Box.net, Flickr, Facebook, Google Docs, and others. Just right-click an item on a web page such as a photo, select Cloud Save, and select the service where you want the file to go.
