    What does Google do with the files that you have in cloud storage if your subscription expires and you are over the free limit of 15GB that every gets for free with Gmail? Do they get deleted?

    When recording in an environment with a high risk of your camera being smashed, is there a way to immediately upload the video to cloud storage so that it will be preserved? I was just thinking about situations where people have exonerated themselves from false police charges ONLY because video existed to show that the police were lying.

    I’m working on a paper with a couple of people in other states. In the “old days” we used to email documents back and forth, but luckily we are past the need to do that. Since it is a mix of Windows and Mac users and we can all use Google Docs, I thought that might be the way to go, but I’ve never used Docs for group mark-ups and editing.

    My house is all pretty much all Android and Windows devices, but my girlfriend has an iPhone and iPad. I have Google Cloud Print set up so it is easy for me to print from any device anytime I am home. Is there a way for her to use Cloud Print with her iOS devices as well?

    When I try to read email messages using iCloud on my laptop and attempt to scroll down in the preview pane, it just keeps scrolling back up. Strange and annoying. It just started happening. I’m using an HP Windows 7 laptop with the chrome browser.

    The Supreme Court just ruled against Aereo, the company that gave out antennas to subscribers that allowed them to send the signal to a cloud based DVR and stream the signal back. The Court found this infringed on the rights of TV broadcasters. Will this impact cloud storage providers who allow users to store music and movies in the cloud?

    Apple apparently announced that they are making changes to iCloud. I’m not an Apple user personally, but I’ve had to help out a friend of mine who is not at all tech savvy a few times, and when I had to deal with iCloud it seemed more like a second tier product. That’s not what I would have expected from Apple.

    I suspect a lot of other people are asking themselves this question after Adobe Creative Cloud was down for over a day. There are a lot of people that missed deadlines because of this, and Adobe forced the subscription, cloud-only model on everyone so there was no fall-back unless you have physical copies of the older software versions.

    The options for protecting against DDoS attacks basically comes down to a hardware based or cloud based solution. Hardware is the traditional way and if utilized properly it is effective, but it can also be very expensive. Do the cloud based options perform as well and offer the same level of protection?

    I still play my Wii from time to time, and I was not pleased to learn that Nintendo was shutting down it’s online gaming, leaderboards, matchmaking, etc. It has been less than a year and a half since the Wii U was released and you can still buy a new Wii.

    I like My Photo Stream because it takes my iPhone photos and saves them to iCloud. What I don’t like is that it takes ALL my photos and does it immediately. That means all those photos of my fingertips, my feet, and my blurry cat are uploaded and I have to go in manually and delete them later.

    I'm doing some competitive price crawling as a service. Right now, my crawlers write to an AWS MySQL cloud database. In order to transfer the data to the client, I currently have to export it to an excel spreadsheet and offer it as a download.
