    There has already been a response to the release of one chapter of the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling. Although the full report will not be released until next week, Exxonmobil has already responded that it does not think that "root causes are systemic and, absent significant reform in both industry practices and government policies, might well recur." No matter whether you believe that the incident was the industry as a whole, it is clear that there was a lack of discipline and clarity around safety protocols, decision-making rules and transparency to conditions among the three parties involved, clearly pointing up a need for collaboration technologies, workflow and visualization.
