Let's start a simple crusade that will benefit us all. The crusade is to get companies using e-mail for marketing to properly use double opt-in. We will cure them of their ignorance by embarrassing them.

These links have actions tied to them that allow automation when someone clicks to confirm their email. The landing page can be somewhat customized as well. It is a better alternative than what most of these companies offer. You can do the same with opt out links too.
