Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.

It would appear that "simple backup" is dead. This is both unfortunate and in most cases and unavoidable truth. For very small business there was a time when an owner manager with a minimum of computer experience could oversee a basic application backing up data. With the now global usage of open file software this no longer works and responsible companies even home based offices need to outsource their data backup.Frank
