Apple may look like a company that has everything together, but in recent months, it has forgotten about the one product that has propelled it into the limelight and made it a major force in the industry - the iPod.
I think you are wrong - AppleTV IS the future. Every home should have one.
Apple are doing the right thing pushing AppleTV instead of the iPod.
Another issue is convergence. I don't want a Phone and an iPod - I want it all in one device - and that, along with a camera, PDA, et al, is an iPhone.

O.K. I realise this is going to be a major step for you guy, but trust me....it's for your own good. Gently, put down the iPod and step awayfrom the table. Take a deep breath, slowly turn around, and walk away. Now, take a look around and enjoy the freedom of life w/o the iPod. Jeesh!
