Mr. Williams did apologize

Mr. Williams did apologize to Ethan after the event. The blog and its contents were removed from Network World after the events.

With that said, Mr. Williams and Certguard are trying to help the community and it is not an easy job. I think it is a task long overdue.

It is also noticed that Cisco has taken many measures to clean up the act as well and the days of the Paper Puppets might be close to an end.

Prologue: Not much time has

Prologue:

Not much time has passed since that unfortunate incident. Apparently some of the people who made the comment are no longer employed with the same employer. It seems they may have actually resigned from the role of CertGuard.

A little extreme since the concept of CertGuard itself is a noble one and it seems to have had a credible impact on the certification industry. Certguard did make a dent. Certification Vendors did listen.

The attack on Ethan Banks was a extreme. But it is history now.

Lots of things occurred after this and not all of them are apparent to everyone watching with a bird's eye view of things.

Either way you look at it Microsoft Data Center management did not follow standards or best practices in this failure. In which case it makes me wonder more about the outsourcing of corporate data much less personal data.

AISO founders envisioned a Web hosting company that was environmentally friendly. While the company employed energy-efficient innovations like solar panels, its infrastructure produced unacceptable power and cooling requirements.
