AdSense farms get a free pass from Google

One of the most frustrating experiences for Internet publishers is discovering that copied articles are appearing on AdSense farms. The problem has been going on for years, and is a violation of Google's AdSense policy. There's even a Web form which allows people to report copyright and other AdSense violations. But don't expect Google to do anything about it.

Interesting post. I read

Interesting post. I read other sites that say google checks the sites (while ranking them) for duplicate content directly from another site and blocks users from google listing and adsense automatically. I'm curious if you've heard the same and what action do you recommend for bloggers who do experience this crime? I've seen sites where the original blogger has posted comments on the scammer's site directing them to take down the content, and it appeared to work, but may not be an "adsense farm" situation.

Now that Google Knol does the same thing as these scraper sites, Google can shut down the scrapers.

AdSense has become VILE TOXIC GRAFFITI sprayed indiscriminately across the entire face of the internet. QUICK EVERYONE! Set up a bunch of blogs. Feed it RRS fed canned press-releases and mealy-mouthed articles-for-the-sake-of-articles. Load it up with AdSense. Give Google a Quarter so they can give you a penny. Let's all get rich!
